Management stage Front Office & PR luxe hotel op de Canarische Eilanden

This 4 star hotel is located in front of the ocean in Playa Blanca, 300 metres from the beach and 500 m from the village centre. Its privileged location along with its comfortable and renovated rooms and many services will help you to enjoy your stay.
Over 350 rooms, nice restaurants, bars and a lot of activities for the international English, German, Dutch and Spanish speaking guests.
The hotel is well organized and will start their latest renovation in april 2012. It will have a new theme restaurant which will be a new concept within the hotel chain.
The rooms are already renovated at have a great and modern look and atmosphere.
Furthermore a large activity department for the children and adults. 
In this pleasant hotel you will and may work hard but it will be furfilling.

Stage omschrijving:

Uitstekende kans voor stagiaire met aantoonbare opgedane ervaring binnen Front Office en PR (>12 maanden)

Based on your previous departmental experiences and Languages skills.
Assignments from your education are welcome.
Period is 6 months. Start can be discussed and based on availibility.

  • Ruim voldoende Spaans schrijven en spreken
  • Derde taal is een prĂ©
  • School contract
  • Aantoonbare ervaring binnen Front Office, receptie en of PR(>12 maanden)

Management stage Supervisor Housekeeping in een resort regio CancĂșn

Jouw stageplaats binnen dit Resort:

Daily routine of a floor supervisor:

  • Properly register the attendances at the beginning and end of the day, wearing their uniform to the standard required by the Hotel.
  • When submitted to the office of the housekeeper, you will prepare the distribution of work reports(check departures, arrivals, and special attention) and preparing the timesheets for controlling of the master keys.
  • Organize the work material ( trash bags, facials, towels and stationery folder) to be delivered to each maid.
  • At 8 am sharp you will deliver the previously prepared work material and should verify that the staff is properly uniformed according to uniform standards.
  • Each supervisor will have the responsibility to conduct the daily Briefing mentioning (occupancy, general information, daily arrivals, departures, arrivals vips, opening hours of restaurants, night show and entertainment, focusing on every day’s mission and vision of our company= awareness ).
  • After the Briefing at 8:20 am, supervisors will have to go immediately to their department with their team of maids.
  • Floor supervisors will have to ensure that each maid has the necessary equipment to carry out his/hers functions or will be complemented in the shortest time possible.
  • In each village the supervisor has the responsibility to monitor the hallways and wardrobes, ensuring that they are in perfect condition: in terms of cleaning and maintenance.
  • Once the above monitoring has been completed, the supervisor will have to conduct a survey of the state of the rooms.
  • The daily occupancy will be delivered no later than at 9.30 am.
  • The supervisor has the task of mentioning the immediate needs of the staff, as working material, damage reports, breakdowns and emergencies that arise and could affect the guest's comfort.
  • Oversees the work of the maintenance area according to the service requests.
  • Prioritize effective solutions once they occurred.
  • The supervisor will ensure the cleanliness of the rooms which falls under the following concept (H10 Premium, Privilege, Mlt, Apple, Trip Advisor, and special) will be finished at 1 pm.
  • Supervise the finished work of the maids.
  • Participate in training and assessment their staff, conducts meetings and work plans with their staff, so it will be easier to detect faults.
  • Organizing, in coordination with Housekeeper, special plans for cleaning and / or preventive maintenance or any type of work to be done in the rooms.
  • Plan your work for the next day.
  • Implement service standards within the Company (Personal Presentation, Phone Etiquette, Attitude and Customer Service, details of times of the different centres of consumption and entertainment, etc.).
  • Ensures Immediate reports are send to the maintenance department on areas involving occupational hazards.
  • Work with suitable safety measures and monitors which is in compliance of its personnel,
  • You must understand, promote and adhere to the established policy of Responsible local Tourism.
  • Participate in training programs determined by the Company.
  • Check and monitor that the staff comply with the Rules Work.

Stageperiode is bespreekbaar. De duur is minimaal 3 en maximaal 6 maanden
