If you’ve traveled with friends, acquaintance, colleagues or families, then you might agree, planning a group trip is much more complex, than it appears to. It involves a lot of manual legwork, and time-consuming back-and-forth: The leader of the group is responsible for choosing hotels to stay, restaurants to eat and activities to discover. He has to negotiate the prices and needs to coordinate among the group and the vendors, tracking changes and deadlines, collecting money, and following up. Endlessly.
That’s why we developed a technology, which makes group travel planning as gratifying as the trip itself. Tripobox helps planners manage all their group travel events—from school trips to family reunions, social outings to friend’s getaways, stag parties to incentives and meetings to sporting events.

Are you excited to talk to prospects & partners? Are you keen to perform customer support to significantly increase KPI ratios?

The role:
During the internship, which shall last a minimum of 4 months, you will focus on the London area through the acquisition of local offerings for the in-bound market and by supporting the business development of the out-bound in the UK.
Your projects:
Enlarging the offering portfolio of hotels, restaurants and activities in London by contracting key suppliers
Supporting all acquired suppliers in maintaining & updating their offerings in our marketplace
Reviewing and validating new offerings
Identifying of potential out-bound partners in the UK (e.g. travel agencies & event planners) and establishing strategic cooperations with them.
Identifying and contacting prospects & leads to send email campaigns & media kits and supporting them in their trip planning.
Using CRM web tools like Highrise to manage contacts and track communication histories and Mailchimp for email marketing services.
Supporting PR and Marketing measures for the UK market.

We’re an internationally focused team that has come together in Barcelona from origins in Spain, Germany, Mexico and the USA. We are now readying the 2.0 version of our platform to launch in January 2013.

- Fluency in written and spoken English (no Spanish required).
