Our Spanish school in Spain is located right on the beach, in a peaceful beach village, on the Mediterranean coast. There are several cultural cities close to La Herradura; Málaga (60km), Granada (70), and Almuñecar (3km). Other cities like Sevilla or Cordoba can be visited as well. We can even offer a programme including a visit to Morocco, which can be reached within 3 hours. At our language school in Morocco, the student can continue his or her course.
Our teachers are Spanish natives, and qualified and experienced in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. There is a wide range of courses for all ages (from 5 years): DELE and Spanish business courses, Spanish & culture or Spanish & tourism courses, children & family courses. One-to-one lessons can be followed either at our school, or from a distance, online.
Our familiair schools offer the opportunity to perfect your Spanish out of class as well! Through (water)sports, such as sailing, surfing, kayaking, diving, tennis, golf, horseback riding, hiking, paragliding, canyoning etc; excursions, social activities, volunteer work, internships and much more. The school is accredited by the famous institute of Cervantes.
Students at all levels will progress as a result of the small groups, the exclusive use of Spanish in classes and on excursions, and the enriching opportunities to get to know the beautiful local area and the Spanish culture.

We have a vacancy for an intern in the school office of the Spanish school in La Herradura.The candidate will have the opportunity to learn or perfect his/her Spanish through an intensive Spanish course in the mornings, and gain valuable experience and skills through an office internship in the afternoons.
- What can we offer the intern?
We are also starting up a language school in the North of Morocco, located in the city Tanger. This is going to be an addition to the current language school in the south of Spain. For both schools there are many on-going projects regarding market research, creating products, promotions and the creation of new programs in which students can follow language lessons for a few weeks in Spain, followed by a few weeks in Morocco.
Another company linked to Spanish school La Herradura is Costa Tropical Events, this company creates tailor made trips in Spain with the option of participating in many different sport activities. Morocco Specialist AsilahVentures is our department organizing tailor made trips to and through Morocco.
For all these projects the company is busy using social media to promote these different products as much as possible, we are working with; facebook, linkedin, hyves, google plus, twitter and blogs are posted on the website. Students who are interested in Social media and Online Marketing are very welcome assist us with these projects to optimize the reach of these channels.
Because of the many projects, we are looking for enthusiastic interns with different backgrounds, nationalities, levels and from different universities. - What is the intern’s role?
The intern will be assisting the employees in the on-going projects, this includes conducting market research, promoting and optimizing the use of social media,, selling trips for costa tropical events, plan and implement activities for summer camps and other tailored trips.

For the first month the intern has to book an intensive course Spanish. For this intensive course the student has to pay a fee. The intensive language course consists of 4 hours of class per day, after the classes the intern can work on his/her projects. After the first month the student will still have the possibility to continue the lessons for free, as a reward for the work.

- Wat zou een opdracht kunnen zijn:
- Het opzetten van de online- en social media instrumenten (onderhouden twitter account, youtube kanaal etc.) en maak hierbij ook gebruik van social sharing links
- Zorgdragen voor periodieke updates en interactie op het platform begeleiden
- Upgraden van onze eigen website door links en banners te plaatsen naar de opgezette social media kanalen
- Optimalisatie vindbaarheid op internet
- Het opzetten van een pilot- app via Twoppy
- Maak gebruik van tracking url’s om het aantal kliks en het bezoekersverkeer vanuit social media-kanalen naar onze website meetbaar te maken.
Uiteraard stemmen we de werkzaamheden af op de kennis en opleiding van jou als student / stagiaire
De stages zijn het gehele jaar door beschikbaar. We bieden de stagiair(e) de mogelijkheid op school gebruik te maken van WIFI (je kunt het beste je laptop meenemen). Afhankelijk van het aantal stagiaires is men verantwoordelijk voor de receptie. Je kunt hier de werkzaamheden uitvoeren, of werken aan een project. De werkzaamheden in de receptie zelf zijn minimaal (tel, ontvangen klanten, geven van informatie over de cursussen) en er is dus voldoende tijd voor de werkzaamheden. Ook als je geen receptiedienst hebt, kun je in een van de ruimtes op school werken.
De werkzaamheden bestaat voornamelijk uit marketing, promoties, vertaalwerkzaamheden, begeleiden excursies en maken van foto's, bijhouden van de social media zoals Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google+ en artikelen schrijven voor de diverse blogs. Je kunt assisteren bij werkzaamheden, maar uiteraard ook zelfstand aan een project werken. Het project kunnen we in overleg met jou in elkaar zetten. Gedurende de eerste week heeft de stagiair(e) een intake gesprek met een van de begeleiders, en wordt gekregen naar de capaciteiten/kennis, en welke werkzaamheden/projecten daar het beste bij aansluiten. De werkzaamheden vinden voornamelijk plaats op de Spaanse taalschool. De school is mooi gelegen aan het strand, in een baai. Er zijn diverse tapasbarretjes, restaurants en winkels aanwezig.
