Stage omschrijving: What you will do…. Reception  Responsible for reservations. In charge of opening the reception, and daily tasks.   Manage all the check in and check out. In charge of the room control and cleaning of the hostel. Organize and control for all the tabs and invoices.   Coordinate the surf classes for the day. Coordinate breakfast. Available starting periods: January May September Duration: 4-5  months

Stage omschrijving: your function the purpose of the internship is to understand all work to manage a hotel on a small scale in another environment. An internship in another country is good on a resume and is a good basis for your personal development, but also gives good again the differences between cultures. Together with you we are looking at the correct interpretation of your internship.   Some of the tasks:  you will receive and guides individuals and groups from all countries Responsible for transporting guests You continuously monitors the satisfaction, the quality, the comfort and safety.  You send the technical and administrative service to you give advice concerning transit and car rental Marketing and Sales activities, advertising and promotion work Responsible for the purchase order lists Your profile: For the internship we expect you to have the following competencies: Flexibility and adapt your own  Knowledge of Dutch and English language Spanish talking/writing or willing to learn the Spanish language (base) Enthusiastic and well able to deal with situations (also less fun) with guest Independence, ultimately, it is intended that you can make decisions themselves and dare. No 9 to 5 mentality, managing a hotel is not a job but a way of life (if you want to experience what that is, this is an excellent opportunity!) Your work environment. Our Company is a business that is based in Costa Rica. It consists of 2 hotels, one a small, cosy, studio-apartment complex surrounded by tropical gardens. The colonial style combined with modern comfort offers a pleasant atmosphere for both private and business., second one is a pretty big complex, and is located in a quiet area and is chosen by customers to spend a few days at pulling on the pool. Both locations are used as airport hotel. We offers you an internship where you'll learn to manage a small hotel where an informal working atmosphere. You work in a country where use, culture is probably strange but quite an experience. You will have the opportunity to discover the country and to experience it yourself. We are flexible with the commands from school. We do not offer placement fee, but you will receive room and Board. This makes it possible to the internship period to spend free of charge.

Wie zijn wij
We maken de komende jaren van Kunstlinie Almere Flevoland (KAF) een fantastisch culturele hotspot met kunst en cultuur voor veel bezoekers uit Almere en Flevoland. KAF wordt een culturele hotspot aan het Weerwater waar mensen samen kunnen genieten van theater, architectuur, kunst, eten en drinken. In die culturele hotspot inspireren we (jonge) mensen hun creatieve talenten te ontdekken en te ontwikkelen. De activiteiten van KAF vinden plaats in vier pijlers: KAF THEATER, KAF EXPO, KAF ACADEMIE en KAF CITYLOUNGE.

Wat bieden wij / de stage

De afdeling is verantwoordelijk voor het contact met de opdrachtgever, de voorbereiding, de planning en de uitvoering van alle evenementen in KAF.
Als stagiair Events werk je aan een opdracht welke samen met KAF wordt geformuleerd en ben jij assisterend aan het team om de evenementen in KAF tot een succes te maken.
Na afloop van je stage kun je zelfstandig een (klein) evenement plannen en uitvoeren.
Kortom: Een veelzijdige stage bij een inspirerende evenementenlocatie in Almere.

Functie-eisen

Wij zoeken met ingang van september 2016 een stagiair die van aanpakken weet, leergierig is, eigen initiatief toont en gaat voor topkwaliteit.
Je bent een enthousiaste en creatieve HBO stagiair en studeert in de richting van Evenementen-, Entertainmentorganisatie of Hospitality.
Je hebt goede mondelinge en schriftelijke vaardigheden in de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.
Je kunt goed in een team werken, maar ook zelfstandig.
Je beschikt over een hands-on-mentaliteit, en gaat nauwkeurig te werk.
Kun jij ook alles regelen behalve het weer en ben je minimaal 20 stage-uren per week beschikbaar … dan zoeken we jou !
