Management stageplaats Rooms Division bij het Radisson in Spa Belgie

Organisatie:

Gelegen in het hartje van Spa op de Place Royale naast de Dienst voor Toerisme en het Casino. Het hotel is eenvoudig en gemakkelijk te bereiken met de auto, gelegen op 10 minuten wandelafstand van het station en 130 km verwijderd van Brussel. Jouw management stage:

Covers 3 departments:

• Reservations (Individual & Groups) & Revenue
• Front Office (Day & Night)
• Housekeeping management 

Reservations The trainee participates to the daily operations of the Reservations Department.
He will be in charge of: 

• Handle requests & reservations 
• Reservations by telephone, email and fax
• Recording into Opera system
• Review the arrivals of the day
• Prepare VIP list for the next day 
• Deal with requests to make the stay of the guest more comfortable

Front Office

• Learn the procedures of checking in and out of groups and individual guests
• Procedures of reservations, credit policies, VIP cashier and security
• Advance booking
• Participate in administrative routines
• Telephone skills
• After the introductory training program, the trainee should work as any other new Front Office Clerk
• Guest Relation

Housekeeping

• Assist in all aspects of daily housekeeping operations.
• First 10 days : learning of cleaning room, bathroom & standards
• Opening of the day & distributing tasks to room attendants
• Closing of the day
• Room Supervision & check

Period is al least 5/6 months and may be discussed.

Jouw taken tijdens je stage. Deze kunnen aangepast worden tijdens je stage:

• Read the news book of the reception and track written notes when needed.
• Dealing with our guests especially when handling a complaint, consider the service standards established and delivered by the Company.
• Check if they have enough material to work without any problem affecting the operation of the department.
• Check list of arrival and departure time and proceed with check-ins and check-outs.
• Group check-ins.
• Check list of departures, stay-over’s and late check outs.
• Prepare pre check-in, making sure to put: keys, towel cards, safe locks, hotel information, whatever else it delivered to the guest upon arrival according to the type of package you purchased.
• Give information about the property, the services we offer and the locality of the country.
• Meet customer requirements and monitor the program of second effort.
• Make report of discrepancy.
• Make changes rooms.
• Keep your work area clean and organized
• Send a comptroller of a well organized all documents generated during their shift and are required to audit.
• In coordination with the Bell boys, send messages to guests and administrative offices.
• Perform teller work:
• Apply rates and charges incidental charge per stay
• Staying well informed about % occupancy, guests at home, arrivals, departures, day and night activities, restaurants, services and special events.
• Promoting sale of upgrades and specialty restaurants.
